ABOUT US

Founded in 2006, Smallworks Press is an award-winning publisher specializing in arts and culture trade titles and limited editions. Affectionately known as Waldman, the mid-century modern home is the site of both Smallworks Press and Smallworks Gallery which features the studio and work of artist, author, and publisher James Stanford, located in the historic Scotch Eighties neighborhood of Las Vegas.

But before there was Smallworks Press, there was Smallworks Gallery located in the Las Vegas Arts District. Featuring works that were 12 inches or smaller, Jim was intrigued by how small works of art, like small acts, connect us as humans.

Nearly twenty-five years later, from motels in Vegas, to street art and aerial photographs of land art on the playa, award-winning Smallworks continues to bring you  the work of artists and writers that explore our world and the place of the arts within it, and always - the shimmering Zen of the neon lights of Vegas.
